Google Adwords Tips and Tricks

1. Decide on who your target audience is and advertise directly to them. Who are the people searching and ready to buy your product? How can you appeal to them? What question can they ask, what is the problem you are offering a solution for?

2. Most expensive AdWords are not always the best. In fact, you may end up spending hundreds of advertising dollars for curious clicks. Instead, maximize your AdWords spending by targeting less competitive key words.

3. Always Work with 2-3 Google Adwords ads at once - by constantly improving your ads, you will make sure you advertising money is working for you and your Google Adwords campaign is producing results. Having several ads at once gives you an opportunity to see what works and what doesn't and which ads your target audience is responding to.

4. Google is very generous about giving out Google Adwords Credit Coupons, so having a $100 coupon or 2 on hand gives you a little bit more time to figure out how to get your Google Adwords campaign to start working for you.

5. Set lower bids for broad matches of your keywords and higher bids for exact matches. You may make sales from both, broad and exact matches of your keywords, but "exact match" is more likely to lead a buyer who is ready to make a purchase on your site.

6. Make sure to point your ad to the right Landing page. If someone lands on your page and has to jump through hoops to find the product you are advertising, you will loose a potential customer and waste money in your Google Adwords account.

7. Instead of simply offering a product, address a problem and offer a solution. Why would someone click on your ad? Is there a need you can satisfy? Is there a problem you can solve? Word your Google Ad accordingly!
